Weaving

My interest in weaving began in the mid 1970’s. The first woven piece was a lap rug made on a simple Navaho style loom, with white, grey and brown homespun wool. It was not unto 2013 that my interest was renewed, and I bought a new Ashford 24”, 8 shaft table loom, on which I enjoy weaving scarves, shoulder wraps and lap rugs. Some pieces are woven with wool from the Bendigo Woollen Mills, and others are from homespun and hand dyed wool and alpaca fleeces.
